Hello and welcome to my portfolio page. I will use this page to showcase the work I have done and the learning I have achieved during English 1C/2C.




First, I want to list some learning goals that I set for myself and then explain how I met these learning goals:

  • List at least 5 learning goals that you set for yourself during the Summer and explain how you met each goal.

1. I wanted to learn many more new words to know English, I achieved this goal by reading and scanning to understand words better.
2. I wanted to be better at speaking, I achieved my goal in this class.
3. I wanted to be better at reading English, i did it so well in this class.
4. My main goal of all is to get A in this class, I have B+ so far.
5. My Goal is to keep track of every thing in class, and I'm attending class and doing well.






Next, I want to explain how one of our reading strategies works. Below I will explain how to Chart a Text. Then, I will give an example of how I charted a non-fiction text.

How to Chart a Text:

Many countries ' economic situation such as Sudan have
gone down and now they are suffering of hunger and they
are now one of the poorest countries in the world.

Schoolchildren need to have at least one meal a
day if they eat they will get better education.

The author is explaining how schoolchildren will
get better in education if they will have food.
For women is differ they get marry later and have fewer
children.

They feed the children and their families so they can complete
their education.

Hunger is a part of everyday life for children poor every six seconds
one child dies of hunger and who ever lives they will suffer.

Ensuring that no child go to school hungry and must satisfy

response about poor people.



Finally, I want to showcase a photograph of what these poor, hungry people are like.
